Advanced Nanoscale Characterization of Materials and Processes

Description

This symposium aims at providing an overview on the most recent developments and applications of advanced nanoscale characterization of materials and processes. 

Topics include new methods and developments in fabrication of micro- and nanostructured materials, structure characterization in 2D and 3D with high-resolution imaging and diffraction techniques, chemical characterization with spectroscopic techniques as well as microstructure and morphology imaging using imaging techniques, kinetic in-situ and operando investigations, and the nanomechanical characterization on the micro- and nanoscale. 

All applications areas related to nanomaterials are invited, including materials for photonics, nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, molecular electronics, energy technologies, catalysis, engineering, health, sensing and quantum devices, nuclear materials and cryo-techniques for biological objects.

  • Phase, texture and stress analysis of materials studied by electrons, neutrons and X-rays
