Frontiers in Nanostructured Magnetic Materials


Nanostructured magnetic materials continue to be the subject of growing interest, both for fundamental studies and technological applications, owing to the wide range of new physical properties emerging at the nanoscale. The continuous advances in theory, material preparation methods, device fabrications and characterization techniques have prompted the research towards new frontiers, such as, magnetism of complex nanoarchitectures, surface/interface and low-dimension magnetism, curved and flexible magnetism, etc., with potential implications in many technological fields, including biomedicine, information storage/processing, sensors, and energy, among others. The Symposium aims at bringing together academic scientists, researchers, and industry professionals to share their experience and the most recent achievements and challenges in modelling, fabrication and characterization of nanostructured magnetic materials, devices and systems for fundamental studies and cutting-edge technological applications.
