Nanomaterials for sustainable energy generation, storage and conversion


Development and deployment of clean and affordable energy is one of the major Sustainable Development Goals. Meanwhile Green Energy has been identified as key pillar of global efforts in fighting climate change. Development and utilization of renewable clean energy, new energy carriers, carbon-free fuels like hydrogen and electric energy storage technologies like advanced batteries are at the heart of the new green economy roadmap. This symposium aims to cover recent advances in nanostructured materials related to electrochemical energy storage and devices (lithium -and beyond- batteries and supercapacitors), hydrogen and carbon free carriers (hydrogen storage, hydrates, ammonia, metal fuels, complex compounds, green hydrogen, etc…) as well as fuel cell.
